Yoga is at its core a spiritual and mental practice.  It is a place where you can be present and connected on your mat, and there are healing properties in every breath of connection.   Paddleboard Yoga is no different.  Your mat is the board; your studio is the water.  What you bring to the class is up to you.

SUP Yoga has been a growing aspect in the paddleboard world because its a new way to connect spiritually and mentally on the boards.  Each move is different then anything you have ever experienced on land, where the dynamics of the water add a new level of difficulty and stability that will force you to re-think each posture anew.

SUP Calhoun offers 3 classes weekly at the North Beach of Lake Calhoun on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:45pm and Saturday mornings at 9:30am.  This yoga class is suited for and open to Yogi’s and paddlers of all levels from people who have never done yoga or been on a paddleboard, to those that wish to push themselves and further their balance and practice in both.  (We do however suggest that you know the basic movements to get you through a Sun A sequence to help you best enjoy the class.)

Our Summer 2017 rates are as follows:
-Single Session (w/ Board Rental): $30
-Single Session (w/ Your own Board): $15
Also make sure you grab one of our punch passes and every 4th class is free!

Classes are limited to 10-12 people and have been filling up quite rapidly each week so make sure and reserve your board today and enjoy this new take on Yoga.  So register here and show up in workout clothes, swimsuit or anything you’re comfortable potentially getting a little wet!
